Master Housing Program List
For programs that accept referrals through Coordinated Access
This list is intended to be used with clients during the referral process, to help them better understand the housing options available and identify programs they may be interested in. Our goal is to support more successful matches by ensuring clients have some basic information about programs before referrals are submitted.
This approach is meant to simplify the referral conversation and reduce confusion during intake
Updates and version control
This list will be updated every one to two months as program information changes or new housing programs are added. Please always ensure you are using the most up-to-date version when completing referrals.
You can find the month and year of validity at the top and bottom of each page.
-
The lists shared above are for May and June, 2026
Please note: Some information is currently missing for certain programs. We are actively working to collect this information, and it will be added in future versions of the list.
If your program information needs to be updated, or if a program is missing from the list, please email cas@ahans.ca so it can be included in the next version. Keeping this list accurate is a collective effort and plays an important role in improving the matching process for both clients and service providers.

Path to Collaboration: A First Assessment of Coordinated Access in HRM
This is the YWCA Halifax CAS Team’s first system-wide assessment of Coordinated Access in Halifax Regional Municipality. Developed in collaboration with community partners, the report reflects conversations with frontline workers, program leaders, and service providers during a period of significant system change. Its purpose is to identify gaps, highlight what is working, and propose strategies to strengthen and improve the system.
