AHANS represents the federal Reaching Home program for communities in Halifax and rural Nova Scotia.
Every community in Canada is impacted socially and economically by homelessness.
The Government of Canada is committed to reducing chronic homelessness by 50% over the next decade.​

To achieve this goal, the Government of Canada collaborates with communities to develop and implement data-driven initiatives that yield productive outcomes.
