Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS)
AHANS is the HIFIS managing agency for Nova Scotia and PEI as part of our commitments under the Reaching Home program.
Organizations enter into user agreements with AHANS to use HIFIS.
The Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS) is a comprehensive data-collection tool that communities across Canada use to address homelessness.
It enables local service providers to collect real-time client-level data and use it to improve collaborative service delivery and implement Coordinated Access.
