On Thursday, February 19th, we gathered to announce funding for new affordable housing in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The former Sunset Terrace building is being thoughtfully repurposed to bring 12 energy-efficient homes on James Street. Through our partnership between the province and the federal government, more than $2.9 million in funding was announced to upgrade the property into environmentally friendly homes while preserving its historic character.

AHANS is honoured to be a trusted partner of the provincial and federal governments in advancing initiatives like these—expanding affordable housing across Nova Scotia and strengthening efforts to prevent and reduce homelessness throughout the province.
